The Person Behind the Flowers....

Hi, I'm Sarah, owner of Vine & Stem. Thanks so much for taking the time to learn more about my business and me. My passion for floristry began when I started planning my own wedding in 2019. I loved working with my florist and designing my wedding flowers with her. She created the most beautiful flowers, which really showcased our personalities and reflected us as a couple!

Shortly after my wedding, I began my training to become a florist, specialising in weddings and events. I have taken courses at Sunderland College and Cambridge Flower School. In 2023, I took the plunge and started Vine and Stem.

I work from my home studio in the charming village of Heighington, just outside Darlington. My four-legged work colleagues keep me company (see pictures below). We cover North East England and North Yorkshire, so please get in touch if you'd like to discuss wedding flowers or perhaps a special event.
